Research Abstract

本研究では、東日本先史時代土器の編年研究を進める上で重要な意味をもつ、既発掘未報告資料(青森県最花貝塚遺跡A地点、八幡堂遺跡、剣吉荒町遺跡出土土器)の資料化と型式学的分析を行った。その結果、これまで内容が不明確であった東北北部縄文時代中期「最花式」の再設定、東北北部縄文時代晩期~弥生時代前期の土器編年や弥生時代の開始時期等の課題に対し、基準・標式資料の提示をはじめ、これまでの研究の問題点の指摘、編年試案の提示等を行うことができた。
