Research Abstract

植物は衣食住をはじめとした人類の生存を支える主要な資源である。本研究ではその植物資源の利用と維持についてエチオピアの農耕社会における事例分析を通じて今後の基礎的な理解に貢献することをめざした。具体的には、作物資源の過去から現在に至る動態、タロイモの栽培技術と多様な品種の維持、テンナンショウ類の加工利用と資源管理、農耕環境を把握するための野生植物の指標的利用などについて分析を進め、発表を行った。
