Research Abstract |
Main research in this theme is to analyze the results of questionnaire, 'Employment, Training and Retention in small manufacturing enterprises'. These results are classified into four regions (The whole Japan Area, Osaka City Osaka Prefecture, Kansai Area), general companies or excellent companies, five sizes (under 30, 30-49, 50-69, 70-89, over 90 employees). The results of analysis are explained below. 1. Excellent companies recruit more employees graduated from faculty of science than general companies. 2. Employees in his or her thirties and forties are more than in the other generations. 3. Skills or experiments for the recruited job are less significant than personal characteristics, that is 'good-natured personality' or 'faithfulness' on the occasion of job Employment. 4. Wage is the most influential factor to retain employees, especially in superior companies. 5. Superior companies tend to give their employees longer and more wide-ranging training.
