Research Abstract |
In Japan after the 1990s, people who cannot secure the family member (a bereaved family, chief mourner) which performs dead courtesy, such as a bereaved family who performs dead religious service at a grave, and a funereal bearer, increased in number. Having appeared as the solution is the following two. One is the appearance of a grave whose management person of a grave had the system of carrying out the dead's religious service instead of a family. Other one is "Pre need Funeral Contracts and Arrangements" which requests a funeral from others who are not family members. In this paper, it analyzes about a decline and exterior-izing of a family function which are seen by the above dead courtesy, and reference is made about the necessity for socialization of dead courtesy, and the, welfare after death. In this research, I compared Korea and Sweden with Japan.
