Research Abstract

人工内耳を装用した子どもは曲のリズムを健聴児と統計的に同等な水準で歌えることを初めて報告し、人工内耳装用児にとって音楽は大きな楽しみの源であり、音楽の楽しみはリズムを中心に起こっていることを示唆した。また、人工内耳を装用する子どもは話し手の気持ちを抑揚を手掛かりに判断できていること、そして抑揚を表現する能力は5-6歳の健聴児と統計的に差がないほど良く、抑揚を理解する能力と相関を示すことを明らかにした。
