Research Abstract

幼児期の子どもの砂遊びについて、同一の幼児に対する発達的な視点からみる継続観察、保育者の関わりと砂遊びの変化・発展の様子、保育者の砂遊びに関する意識と保育カリキュラムにおける砂遊びの位置、さらに砂場の保育文化史的視点及び遊びの環境構成論からの研究を行った。その結果として幼児期における砂遊びの特徴と砂場という遊び環境構築の重要性について明らかにした。また保育者の役割と遊びの発展についての解明を行った。
