| Research Abstract |
公立劇場が地域に対しいかなる演劇教育活動を行っているか、あるいは行うべきであるかという問題について、英国の公立劇場、特にマンチェスターの2劇場を中心に実地調査を行った。また、わが国の公立劇場の活動についても調査を行った。彼我の比較を通して、演劇教育活動に対する意識の相違が明らかとなり、また組織・資金・人材面においてわが国が大きく後れを取っている現状も明らかとなった。
