Research Abstract

「問題 : ある積に最も近い良く知られた積はなにか? それを見つけるシステマチックな方法を発見せよ」と大きな枠組みに設定した.任意の積を表す点と結合代数を表す多様体上の点の距離の二乗を最小にする点を見つける微分幾何学的手法で臨んだ. この新規テーマのモデルを構築すべく, 簡単な例を設定・計算を行った. また、結合代数を表わす代数的集合はいくつかの部分に分かれる. それぞれの部分の点達が代数的変形(研究課題名にある構成法)で移り合えることを発見した. この過程で,「多項式変形」という概念を導入した.
