Research Abstract

投薬後の血液中のある成分の濃度が一定時間ごとに測定されたり、生物の成長が数日ごとに測定されたりするようなデータを繰返し測定データといい、その統計解析法に関する研究を行った。繰返し測定データに対して薬物動態モデルのような非線形モデルが適用されることがあり、そのパラメータの統計的推測が重要である。従来の研究の中心はパラメータの推定法が中心であり、その区間推定や検定などの推測法の開発はあまり進んでいなかった。しかしながら、データ解析を行う現場では、パラメータが有意であるかや、違いが有意であるかなどが要求されている。そこで、本研究課題では非線形混合効果モデルにおけるパラメータの信頼領域(信頼区間)の構成に焦点をあてることとした。信頼領域の構成においては統計量の分布だけでなく、点推定量でも正確に導出することが困難であるから、信頼領域を近似的に構成した。そして、それが従来の手法をもとに構成した近似信頼領域よりも近似精度が良いことを、実際の場面を想定したモデルをもとにしたシミュレーションにより検証した。さらに、繰返し測定データの解析で用いられることがある平行プロフィールモデルにおいて、コントロールとの多重比較に関連して多重方向決定の近似的方法を提案した。また、一様共分散構造をもつ多変量正規分布において、各成分の平均が等しい場合の平均の長さ一定の信頼区間の構成法を与えた。つまり、推測の精度と信頼度が要求される場合に、必要とされるデータ数を導き出す方法を与えた。
