Research Abstract

オービフォールドを余剰次元として含む高次元時空上で定義されたゲージ場の理論に基づき、1種類の粒子から3世代の物質粒子の大部分が導出される模型を提案した。また、様々な2次元オービフォールド上のゲージ理論に関して、ゲージ対称性に関する同値関係を用いてバルク場の境界条件の分類を行った。さらに,高次元時空上のゲージ理論に基づいて「Strong CPの問題」について,リフシッツ型のゲージ理論に基づいて「陽子崩壊の問題」について再考した。
