Research Abstract |
Due to developments of observations, it becomes important to check the fundamental principle such as Lorentz invariance. Moreover, precision cosmology urged us to study theoretical fine structure. However small it is, it is worth exploring in detail. Based on this motivation, we have studied the impact of Lorentz violation on cosmology. We found an anisotropic inflationary scenario where Lorentz invariance is spontaneously broken. We also formulated cosmological perturbation theory in this background and succeeded in making predictions for various observables relevant to future observations of cosmic microwave background radiation.
