Research Abstract

1.重イオン核融合に於ける「融合阻害」(クーロン障壁を遙かに超える入射エネルギーを与えても融合しない)の機構を明らかにした。
2.超重元素合成について、冷核融合経路及び熱核融合経路を統一的にひとつの理論の枠組みで記述できることを示した。この理論は、クーロン障壁越えのみを考慮する従来の理論とは違って、融合が揺動或いは拡散によって起こるとする革命的なものであったが、現在では標準的方法としてこの分野の研究者に広く受け入れられている。
3.2原子核系から単一の複合核形成への動力学的過程での、Neck及び質量非対称自由度の役割を、スモルコウスキー方程式を解析的に解くことによって解明した。
