Research Abstract

Fe_xMn_<1-x>Sについては鉄18%の、Cr_xMn_<1-x>Sについてはクロム18%の試料について高圧力下で赤外反射測定とX線回折実験をおこなった。いずれも圧力誘起の金属転移が観測されその転移圧力を求めることができた。この結果をX線回折のそれとあわせることによりイオン間距離と金属転移の関係を定量的に明らかにすることができた。このことよりこの系統の物質の金属転移や超巨大磁気抵抗効果のメカニズム解明のための重要なデータを提供できた。
