Research Abstract

モット型金属絶縁体転移は、キャリアがバンドを部分的にしか占有していないにもかかわらず、電子問相百作用の影響で電子が局在し、低温で絶縁体に転移することである。本研究では1.温度によるモット転移が多段階的に起こること、2.光電子スペクトルの形状が相百作用の強さによって著しく異なること、3.弱相関領域の絶縁相は一体描像で説明できることを明らかにした。こうしたスペクトル形状の違いから、電子間相百作用の強さを知るプローブという、光電子分光法の新しい可能性を指摘した。
