Research Abstract

基礎・応用科学の中で一般的に言われる「ノイズ」というものは、排除すべきものとして、その発生原因やマイナス的効果及び処理手法などが研究されてきた。しかし、近年の研究で、ノイズはある条件下ではプラス的な効果を引き起こすことが分かった。本研究は液晶対流系においてノイズの効果を電気・光学手法を駆使して実験的に調べた。様々なノイズ条件で特有な応答法則を確認し、その応用可能性を示した。
