Research Abstract

マグマ貫入後の火山体内部の熱水流動のシミュレーションを行い、得られる温度圧力分布から磁化分布を見積もることによって、地表での地磁気がどのように変化するかを数値的に評価した。期待される地磁気変化に大きく影響を与えるパラメータは、母岩の浸透率とマグマ貫入の深さであった。また、口永良部島火山およびインドネシアメラピ火山で観測された火山性磁場変動に対し、それぞれ熱磁気効果および圧磁気効果での説明を試みた。
