Research Abstract

ロシア、オーストラリア、ナミビアなどのエディアカラ化石群について、産地および当該国に保存されている標本を基に研究した。また、類縁とされる現生の生物について、解剖学的特徴を観察し、化石と比較検討した。さらに、海外の著名研究者との討論も行った。その結果、エディアカラ化石生物群には、現生の動物界に含まれるものは無いとの結論に到達した。
