| Research Abstract |
[Fe(3cn-L)_2(NCS)_2](3Cn-Lはアニリン誘導体とピリジン-2-カルボキシアルデヒドから合成さるシッフ塩基)を合成した。一連の錯体は脂肪酸のメチル鎖の長さを変えた錯体である。合成した錯体の同定および、磁化率、DTA,MOssbauerスペクトル,Polarized optical microscopy,化学構造の計算を行った。n=4からn=8の錯体は液晶性を示す。n=1-9までの錯体はスピンクロスーバの性質と光駆動スピンクロスオーバも示す。そのため、n=4からn=8までの錯体は多機能を示す物質が開発されたことになる。
[Co(C5C12C10-terpy)_2](BF_4)_2が合成された。C5C12C10-terpyは288K以上で液晶であるが、液晶になるとともに、スピン転移を起こす。液晶転移とスピン転移が同時に起こる系となった。
[Fe(1C16-0-bzimpy)_2](BF_4)_2と[Fe(2C16-0-bzimpy)_2](BF_4)_21C16-O-bzimpyは2,6-bis (benzimidazol-2'-yl)-4-hexadecyloxypyridine,2C16-O-bzimpyは2,6-bis (N-hexadecylbenzimidazol-2'-yl) pyridineである。前者はスピンクロスオーバ、光駆動型スピン転移、液晶の多機能を示すが、後者は低スピン化合物で液晶性を有していた。
