Research Abstract

PEEK材料の焼付き挙動は、リング温度に強く依存することがわかった。良好な油膜が形成されていてもリング温度が増加し続ける場合、運転条件にかかわらず100℃を超えると摩擦係数が増加し始め、PEEKは120~130℃,PEEK複合材料は160~180℃を超えると焼付きに遷移した。焼付きによって、樹脂表面は溶融あるいは軟化するために、微細なロール状やプレート状摩耗粒子が特徴的に発生した。このように、発生する摩耗粒子形態から、樹脂軸受の運転状態を知ることができる。
