Research Abstract

補聴器はアナログからディジタルへ主流になりつつある。ディジタル補聴器は、アナログ素子のものと比べると、入力されてきた音声信号に多様な処理を施すことが容易に実現できるため、「fitting」の際に要求される細かい調節が可能である。しかし、補聴器を必要とする難聴者の聴力特性は千差万別であり、おのおのの聴力に適したfittingが行える従来のディジタル補聴器は、計算量・電力消費が多くて、コストが高いなどの問題点が挙げられる。本研究では、低次数でも比較的特性の優れた3種類の可変IIRディジタルフィルタ(可変低域通過ディジタルフィルタ、可変帯域通過ディジタル、可変高域通過ディジタルフィルタで構成される3チャンネル可変ディジタルフィルタバンク(variable filter-bank : VFB)を設計し、消費電力とコストパフォーマンスの悪さの要因になっている計算量を軽減し、かつ最適なfittingが可能なディジタル補聴器の設計法を開発した。
