Research Abstract

本研究では、チタン合金の安全性や信頼性のさらなる向上のために、材料試験、表面解析、昇温水素放出分析などから、生体内における材質劣化のキャラクタリゼイションと機構解明を行った。チタンやチタン合金と比較するとニッケル-チタン超弾性合金は、局部腐食や水素脆化などの材質劣化が起こりやすいことが明らかになった。また、材質劣化には応力誘起マルテンサイトが及ぼす役割が特に重要であることが示された。
