Research Abstract

レーザー核融合における燃料の高密度圧縮に関連して、圧縮過程で生じる様々な流体不安定性の非線形発展を渦のダイナミックスの観点から明らかにしてきた。特に本研究では凹凸のある物質界面を衝撃波が通過することによって生じる不安定性を中心にして、渦度の生成・消滅を伴う界面での非一様渦のダイナミックスを記述する非線形理論モデルの構築、分子動力学シミュレーションなどを行い、爆縮に伴う非線形成長の加速の存在などを明らかにした。
