Research Abstract

イネ科植物のジフェルラ酸形成では、細胞壁結合型ペルオキシダーゼの活性レベルが律速要因の1つであることが明らかになった。この酵素には複数のアイソフォームが存在し、分子サイズは35 kDa程度で、弱酸性条件で最大活性を持つことが示された。また、細胞壁のシュウ酸酸化酵素に関しては、過酸化水素の生成・供給を介してペルオキシダーゼ活性に作用し、細胞壁中でジフェルラ酸とリグニンの形成を促進することが示された
