Research Abstract

片側尾葉切除後のフタホシコオロギにおける空気流刺激に対する逃避の方向の回復は、自身が歩行することにより生じる自己刺激空気流を手がかりとしている。このような自己刺激が回復に有効に作用するのは片側尾葉切除後2-6日の間であることから、行動およびそれを支配する神経系の変化には臨界期(あるいは感受性期)が存在することが判明した。また、神経系(巨大介在神経)において切除後6日程度で見られる機能変化は、逃避方向の回復と関係している可能性がある。
