Research Abstract

主に強酸性水域に生育するPinnularia acidojaponicaを19地点から採取し、分子配列に基づく同一種性を解析した。いずれの個体群もわずかに異なる形態を示すものであった。個体群間に認められた塩基置換の総数はSSU rDNA,rbcL, ITS ともに0~7程度のものは、形態計測値に基づく主成分分析のクラスターと一致するものであった。しかし、置換数がより多いものは異なるクラスターとなった。また、P. acidojaponicaの被殻よりsilaffin様物質の抽出をおこなうことができた。
