Research Abstract

二次共生で葉緑体を獲得したクロララクニオン藻について、核コード18SrRNA遺伝子を用いて系統解析を行ない、群内に7主要系統群の存在を明らかにした。また、知見が不十分な7株について、形態、微細構造、タイムラプスビデオによる生活環の観察を行ない、6株(新属新種2株、新種2株、未記載種2株)が新規分類群であることを見いだした。さらに複数の形質について「植物」としての適応進化を考察した。
本藻群に近縁な無色ケルコゾアの新規培養株も5つ確立し、うち2つが新規分類群であること明らかにし、一方は新種として記載した。
