Research Abstract

アントシアニンは抗酸化作用を始め多くの生体調節機能が報告されているが、その分子作用機構には不明の点が多い。本研究は分子生物学的手法および遺伝子網羅的な解析手法を用いてアントシアニンによる細胞癌化の信号伝達経路、標的分子および下流の遺伝子の発現制御を解析した。その結果、アントシアニンが少なくともプロティンキナーゼMEK1と直接的に結合し、MAPKの伝達経路を抑制し、細胞炎症・癌化を制御することが明らかとなった。
