Research Abstract

日本に生息する蚊3種、アカイエカ、ヒトスジシマカ、ヤマトヤブカのニューヨーク株ウエストナイルウイルス感受性を調べた。本ウイルスが3種の蚊体内で増殖することを、感染実験とRT-PCR法で確かめた。本株の蚊体内での増殖は、ウガンダ株より高いことが示唆された。また、ウイルス感染後の蚊中腸に、複数タンパクの発現増強が二次元電気泳動で示唆された。
