Research Abstract |
本研究によって、哺乳類細胞の脂肪滴上で中性脂質合成が行われている可能性が提示され、その際脂肪滴上のアシルCoA合成酵素が重要な役割を果たすことが示唆された。ヒト肝由来培養細胞をモデルとした場合、細胞の周縁部に存在する脂肪滴で中性脂質合成が盛んであるとの状況証拠が得られた。また、脂肪滴特異的脂質代謝酵素に緑色蛍光蛋白を融合させた蛋白は、生細胞中で発現させると脂肪滴表面に蛍光が観察されることから、脂肪滴の動態観察に有効と考えられた。
