Research Abstract |
ウズラ胚筋芽細胞が筋管を形成する時に、発現量が増加する一遺伝子(AB128922)を得、その遺伝子産物の特性を調べたところ、本遺伝子産物が、細胞接着分子で脳や筋肉の発生に関係するNCAM (neural cell adhesion molecule)という蛋白質に結合する事が明らかになった為、これをMYONAP (myogenesis-related and NCAM-associated protein)と命名した。
