Research Abstract

心内膜床は初期胚心臓の房室管および流出路に形成され、完成した心臓の中隔や弁の原基となる。この心内膜床は心内皮細胞の間葉への形質転換によって形成される。これまでの研究で心内皮細胞の形質転換には、心筋から分泌されるBMP が必要であることが示されていた。今回の研究により、この形質転換過程にwnt シグナルの伝達経路も必要であることが明らかになった。さらにBMP とwnt シグナル伝達経路の下流で転写因子のsox9 が働いている可能性が示唆された。
