Research Abstract

平滑筋細胞の収縮はCaチャネルから流れ込むCa^<2+>量に依存し、収縮に必要なCa流入に関与するL型とL型の制御を行うT型に分けられる。平滑筋細胞にはα1G及びα1Hの2種のT型Caチャネルが存在し、妊娠経過や病態によって発現量が変化する。両T型Caチャネルは近似したチャネル特性を持つが、クモ毒であるProTx-Iはα1Gに特異的な抑制を示す。このことから、両T型Caチャネルが共存することで、毒物等の侵入による機能不全を回避するシステムを構成していると考えられた。
