Research Abstract |
I have studied the influence of mineral oil for several years. And I have already studied medicinal mineral oil immunological effect. I indicated that medicinal mineral oil induced some autoantibody in mouse. But medicinal mineral oil didn't produce anti nRNP/Sm antibody and anti-Su antibody that was specific to SLE. Ingredient of medicinal mineral oil was heavier than pristine that was known as a mineral oil induced autoantibody (anti nRNP/Sm antibody and anti-Su antibody included). We considered lighter mineral oil could induce anti nRNP/Sm antibody and anti-Su antibody. We investigated the mineral oil included in diesel exhaust. Hexadecane is typical mineral oil in diesel exhaust. So, we studied the effect of hexadecane first. And we searched for the mechanism of autoantibody induction. We indicate several new results about mineral oil below. 1,Hexadecane produced autoantibody (anti nRNP/Sm antibody and anti-Su antibody). But mice exposed diesel exhaust didn't produce autoantibody. 2,We found that the CD3ζ expression of pristane exposed mice T cell was decreased, and serum arginine was diminished too. Additionally the expression of CD3ζ was recovered with addition of arginine. We supposed that the induction of autoantibody by mineral oil was depended on molecular weight of the oil, and was associated with reduction of CD3ζ and arginine.
