Research Abstract

腎の糸球体濾過バリアー機能に情報伝達系が重要であり、微小変化型ネフローゼ症候群(MCNS)の病因にバリアー破綻因子が想定されている。本研究で、バリアー構成分子アクチニン4と相互作用するOK/SW-CL.16蛋白を同定した。構造上の特徴から情報伝達系蛋白の可能性が高く、この相互作用はバリアー機能維持に重要と考えられた。また、MCNS症例の末梢血でTh2サイトカインの優位性を認め、バリアー破綻因子の同定に示唆を与えた。
