Research Abstract |
難治性肉芽腫形成疾患の病態を解析し、治療法の基盤を形成することを目指した。サルコイドーシスの発症機構として、Nod1の機能低下型変異による細胞内寄生型アクネ菌への応答不全であることを明らかにした。またNod2の機能低下に関して、白血病とは関連するが、クローン病と重症GVHDの発症には影響しないことを明らかにした。またNod familyの機能制御因子として、癌抑制因子と活性酸素制御因子を同定し、治療法開発の基盤を形成するとともに、感染と悪性腫瘍発症の関連の分子機構を明らかにした。
