Research Abstract

小動物において非侵襲的に脳内生化学的変化を測定できる、magnetic resonance spectroscopicimaging 法を開発した。また本方法を用いて、脳性麻痺の主要な原因である低酸素性虚血性脳症の病態生理を研究し、新生児においては持続的な低酸素よりも、間歇的な低酸素の方が脳に有害であることが明らかとなった。
