| Research Abstract |
老年期のうつ病はしばしば認知症に移行するため, 脳の白質変化を捉えることができる拡散テンソルMRI解析を用い, 認知症に移行した症例の特徴を調べた。認知症に移行した老年期のうつ病は, 認知症の予備段階よりも白質の変化が大きく, アルツハイマー病と一部病態が一致しており, 異なる点として脳の前方領域での白質の障害が大きかった。移行予測因子として, うつ病が重症であることと, 脳梁膨大部の障害が推定された。
