Research Abstract

The dose distributions of Ir-192 seed measured with the themoluminescent (TL)sheet and measured with radiochromic film within 9mm from source center well agreed with each other. In addition, the differences between the 1D anisotropy function values measured with the TL sheet and the data recommended in the updated AAPM TG-43 report were 10% at 5 mm and 7.5% at 10 mm, respectively, for Pd-103(model 200). The dose distributions around Pd-103 and I-125(model 6711) low energy photon emitting sources besides Au-198 (Au grain) source for interstitial brachytherapy were compared by using TL-sheet. The slope of dose distribution within 10 mm from center of Pd-103 source was the smallest than those of the other sources. The slope of dose distribution of Au-198 source was the largest than those of the other sources. Pd-103 is possible to delivered the most dose within 10 mm from the center of source than the other sources.
We have transformed the sequential program to parallel processing with economical and popularizing multiple core CPU. The performance of our system approximately shows the proportionality for number of core of CPU
