| Research Abstract |
緑膿菌性尿路バイオフィルム感染症の予防法および治療法の確立を主要な目的として研究を遂行した。抗バイオフィルム剤の評価に使用するバイオフィルム実験モデル系(キャピラリーフローセルシステム)は、緑色蛍光蛋白質産生株・非産生株のいずれを用いても再現性のある実験系として、本研究期間に格段の進化を遂げた。本実験系および新規スクリーニング法を使用し、人工尿中、抗バイオフィルム剤としての有用性が示唆される化合物を見出した。
