| Research Abstract |
加齢黄斑変性に対する新たな光線力学療法の開発を目的とした。インドシアニングリーン(ICG)とフェムト秒パルスレーザーを組み合わせた光線力学療法(ICG-PDT)の効果を検討した。ラット脈絡膜新生血管(Choroidal neovascularization ; CNV)モデルにおいて、ICG-PDTは効果的に新生血管を閉塞させることができた。in vitroの実験ではICG-PDT では活性酸素種の発生を確認できただけではなく、VEGF発現を抑制することができ、従来のPDT よりも、より安全に効果的に治療を行うことができる可能性がある。
