Research Abstract

我々は、重症眼表面疾患の治療に有用な培養口腔粘膜シートにおける膜型ムチンの解析を行ってきた。口腔粘膜組織ではほとんど見られないMUC16が、培養して上皮シートを作成すると、重層化した上皮の最表層にMUC16が発現していることが明らかになった。これは、培養過程において何らかの因子が口腔粘膜上皮のMUC16発現を賦活化した可能性が考えられるが、MUC16の発現因子を解明するヒントになると思われる。
