Research Abstract

唾液腺細胞(HSG)において末梢時計機構が存在しており、様々な遺伝子の概日リズム調節の中心をなす時計遺伝子Bmal1遺伝子は転写レベルにおいて概日リズム調節されていることが判明した。このBmal1遺伝子の転写調節は、時計遺伝子特異的なクロマチン構造をしているのみならず、唾液腺細胞(HSG)に特異的な転写調節機構を持っており、これにより様々な唾液腺特異的な生物リズム調節を行っていることが示唆された。
