Research Abstract

ブタ骨からCrude-BMP(PC-BMP)を抽出、精製し、歯髄に対するその効果を検索して、3種類の市販覆髄剤の効果と比較検討した。その結果、PC-BMPは市販覆髄剤に比べて、(1)充分な異所性骨誘導活性を有していること、および(2)歯髄細胞の増殖能と石灰化に大きく影響を及ぼすことが明らかとなった。したがって、PC-BMPは歯髄保存療法における新しい生体材料として有用となる可能性が示唆された。
