| Research Abstract |
今回の研究では基質としてハイドロキシアパタイトなどのリン酸カルシウム系化合物もしくは炭酸カルシウムとポリ乳酸ポリエチレングリコール共重合体を組み合わせたものを考え、そこにBMP-2ならびにMMPなどの分化・誘導因子を添加することが出来るかを検索した。基質の材料としては、まずはレーザーアブレージョン法や浸漬法によりインプラント表面にハイドロキシアパタイトをコーティングし、インプラント初期固定に及ぼす影響の経時的変化を実験動物にラットおよびイヌを用い、インプラントと骨の接合強度、すなわちインプラントを除去するときの値(リムーバルトルク値)を測定して検討した。その結果、各種のハイドロキシアパタイト固定化チタンインプラントでは、対照群の未処理チタンインプラントに比べ骨との接合が強固であった(p<0.01)。よってそこにBMP-2ならびにMMPなどの分化・誘導因子を添加することでインプラントの初期固定に相乗効果を与えることが可能であることがわかった。
