Research Abstract

骨形成を促進する働きを持つBMP-2と、BMPの作用を増強させるHeparinを用い、活性を失うことなくチタン表面に固定し強力な生体活性を示すインプラント材料を開発した。本材料をin vitroで生物学的に評価し、マウスの骨芽細胞に対して強い骨形成を誘導することを明らかにした。さらにラット脛骨を用い、in vivoにおいても強い骨誘導能を持つことが示され、臨床応用も十分可能であることが示された。
