Research Abstract

本研究では、ラット胎仔下顎隆起の器官培養系にエレクトロポレーション法によりFgf10遺伝子を側方部に過剰発現させた時にのみメッケル軟骨の形態に影響与え、長軸方向の長さを増大させることを示した。また、FGF10タンパクは下顎隆起側方部由来の細胞の軟骨細胞分化を促進した。これらのことから、FGF10は胎生期下顎隆起において領域特異的にメッケル軟骨の形態および大きさを制御しているものと推察された。
