Research Abstract

超好熱菌エネルギー代謝系の主要複合金属酵素は、学術上重要なだけでなく、バイオナノセンサーやエレクトロナノテクノロジー等への産業利用も見込まれる。ポストゲノム・ポストストラクチャー時代の応用展開を考え、超好熱菌の複合金属酵素をコードする遺伝子クラスターの簡易発現系ストラテジーの大枠を考案した。各種分光学的解析、結晶構造解析等と合わせて検討・改善を重ね、当初の主たる研究目標をほぼ達成できた。
