Research Abstract

本研究は、アスベスト(石綿)および牛海綿状脳症(BSE、狂牛病)に関する対策を事例として、日本・アジア・欧米における健康リスクの管理・コミュニケーション戦略の現状についての比較実証分析を実施した。健康リスク管理においては、安全と安心の両者を実現することが政策目標とされるが、政策選択における科学的知見の用いられ方は多様である。日本、英国、フランス、米国、韓国、マレーシアの石綿関連政策、日本、英国、フランスおよび米国のBSE対策の政策史を記述し、それらの背景となった社会力学と成立した政策との関連を検討した上で、国際比較を行った。
