Research Abstract

石炭利用時の塩素の化学の解明を目指し、熱分解時の塩素の形態変化と HCl の発生挙動を主に調べた結果、石炭中の無機塩化物の一部は 440°C 以下で HCl に転換され、440°C チャー表面には原炭に比べ多くの有機塩素が存在した。また、活性炭を500°C で HCl 処理すると塩素化芳香族が生成した。以上より、石炭の熱分解時に高温域で発生する HCl は、一旦脱離した HClと炭素活性サイトとの反応で形成された C-Cl 種由来であることが明らかとなり、その表面有機塩素は条件に依っては有害有機塩素化合物に変化すると推論された。
