Research Abstract

局所的で急峻に変化する低空氷晶雲を30dB 以上の高精度で偏光解消度を計測できるライダーシステムを開発した。本システムではps 両偏光成分をバランスをとって射出し、両成分のエコー光を同時に計測することで高精度の偏光消光比を実現している。作動検出によって偏光消光比算出の高いダイナミックレンジを確保した。そのために偏光無依存型光サーキュレータを新たに開発した。偏光消光比の高精度計測の実現によって雷放電による伝搬光の偏光面回転角の測定が期待できる。本研究ではその理論的、実験的考察に関しても検証を行った。
